Pascal Pierme

St. Raphael, France, b. 1962

He studied in San Rafael, France; San Diego CA; and Belfiort, Pietra Santa, Italy. Pierme has collaborated with architect Anti Lovag, was assistant muralist for Pierre Cardin's home, Palais-Bulle and was part of the National Artist Registry, Art in Architecture USA and Art in Embassies Program, USA. His sculpture has been exhibited internationally and he currently resides in Santa Fe, NM.

Pierme is a wood sculptor that incorporates an organic material, geometric forms and a modern aesthetic. Known for both wall pieces and free-standing sculpture, Pierme's unique varnishes and resins are the key element to his work. Working with a variety of precious woods, Pierme creates bronze-like patinas and finishes that appear metallic, contradicting the warm material of wood.

Pierme's work is in various private, public, museum, and corporate collections, including Palais Bulles, Pierre Cardin's residence, Cannes, France; Carol Burnett, Santa Fe, NM; City Hall, Collogny, Switzerland; Marriott Hotels; Active Health, New York; Equifax World Headquarters.
