LYNN DAVISON
Resides in Naples, FL

Davison, a graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, is a figurative painter who hopes to provoke introspection through her work. Intending to reveal a universal truth of what it means to be human – disconnected and vulnerable - Davison's figures are the opposite of idealized. Often using herself as a model, her forms are brutally honest. The surrealistic and haunting settings of her paintings only contribute to the enigma that she creates.

Davison's work can be found in collections at the University of Tampa; Maitland Art Center, Maitland, FL; Ohio University, Athens, OH; Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Lorretto, PA; Polk Museum of Art, Lakeland FL.
