Rana Rochat received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Rochat has exhibited her work in several group and solo shows since 2000. Her paintings have successfully sold at numerous art fairs across the country.

Rochat believes that there is a universal fragile balance between order and chaos, reason and spontaneity that her paintings try to capture. She sees her work as pictorial metaphors of this fragile balance, using marks, forms, colors, as well as the luminosity and visual depth afforded by the encaustic medium.

Rochat's work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and can be found in collections around the world including Alston & Bird, Atlanta, GA; the Dubai Consulate; The Landers Firm, Memphis, TN; Pacific Peninsula Group, San Francisco CA; Saks Fifth Avenue, Miami, FL.
