Jennifer J.L. Jones received her B.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Jones' paintings have been exhibited in select national and international galleries located in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Lisbon, Portugal.

Jones' mixed media paintings are inspired by nature – the seasons, weather patterns, and natural elements. She explores the idea of energy and beauty through color and texture combining a poetic, almost sensual grace with consistently bold execution. Through multiple layers of abstraction and combined mediums including a refined glazing technique, she creates rich organic patinas that evoke emotions, thoughts, and universal connecting points in the observer.

Jones' work is included in numerous international corporate and private collections, including those of the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Scana Energy Corporation, Oprah Winfrey, Joel Katz, and Judith Belushi Pisano.
