ARTIST STATEMENT: About His
Work
Polyester fabric has the unique ability to act as surface or
grid, to be opaque or translucent. These qualities allow the artist to
manipulate not only the exterior surfaces of a work, but also to make the
interior of the painting visible to the viewer, multiplying the possibilities
for compelling combinations of space, light and surface.
