HE BEGAN HIS CAREER AS A VISUAL ARTIST WORKING OUT OF A STUDIO ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE HISTORIC GLADSTONE HOTEL, AND HAS SINCE BEEN EXHIBITED IN GALLERIES ACROSS CANADA. IN 2008, THE PRECOCIOUS TALENT MADE HIS MUSEUM/PUBLIC GALLERY DEBUT WITH TWO PROJECTS: A SOLO EXHIBITION AT LA MAISON DE CULTURE IN QUEBEC; AND AN INTERACTIVE PROJECTION ON THE ART GALLERY OF ONTARIO, AS PART OF TORONTO'S NUIT BLANCHE FESTIVAL. HE WAS ALSO A RECIPIENT OF THE ONTARIO ARTS COUNCIL'S ACCESS AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT GRANT, A $15 000 AWARD TO BOOST EMERGING YOUNG ART CAREERS.
